Chambers – Portals
This is a new track from a demo I am shopping around to labels. It is a recording of one of my handmade synthesizers being played in a 10 story long stairwell. There were no pre- or post- effects used to produce this. Leave feedback please!
Dedications
These 4 tracks are from a forthcoming album of guitar based works. I have begun to dedicate several of these tracks to people with an Uppercase initial to signify their importance on the date it was written. This work is of more emotional importance and will include about 5-6 tracks. I am in the process of finding a label to release this work too.
Embossed Earth – ThroneHeap.com
These tracks are from the most current L.R. Padgett album – Embossed Earth. All copies I have are sold out or now traded. Copies can still be obtained on Hanson. This release came with silk screened artwork and was on a black tape. The sounds were generated from a razor mic used to play old 45′s that were then looped, various synths. No post digital production was used to make these tracks.
Kind Words :
- Only 50 copies of the cassette by Throne Heap LR Padgett American writer of mystery tape.Masses and taped sound material corrosion by metallic sounds and instruments creak. This texture is wonderful. Is recommended. www.art-into-life.com
- Also on analogue electronics, but of his own making is one L.R. Padgett (also known as Loyd Padgett of Defenestrated Records). He also uses ‘marantz tape manipulation and microphoned turntable experiments’. This too might be put to the word ‘drone’, but it is cleverly combined with more electro-acoustic elements, although Padgett doesn’t use any sort of cut-up collage techniques. The electro-acoustics are picked up into the world drones, perhaps due to the use of reverb, but its done in such a way that the reverb doesn’t take control of the end-result. Here we deal with ‘a track per side’ but again at twenty-five minutes, so you can hardly go wrong. Excellent dark and isolationist music. – Vital Music
